Pocket Fold Invitation

As promised here is project #1 with the recipe for the Pocket Fold Invitation. The pocket fold can also be used as a self mailer, just add your address labels, and drop it right in the mail!

Materials Needed For This Project:

1. Die-cut Pocket Card- NC206CSJ, (found on http//:www.SimplyVS.Etsty.com website)
2. Die-Cut Square 5 ¾”- SQ702J (found on http//:www.SimplyVS.Etsty.com website)
3. High Quality Smooth 80# White Cover
4. Copper Metallic Paper
5. Copper Pigmented Ink
6. Swirl Clear Rubber Stamp
7. Font: Of your choice, keep in mind you are working with a limited space. Try using something different, other than your traditional scripted fonts. Try using Harrington, Engravers or Lucida Calligraphy.

Getting Started:

First assure that your work area is clean and free of any dust or airborne articles, the pigment ink could possibly pick it up. Place a simple piece of scrap paper under your work surface. You will need to work carefully with the pigmented ink because it will smear before it is dry or heat set.

2. Using a Glue tape adhere the bottom portion flaps in and up to form your V shape pocket. (see the picture for reference)

3. Using your choice of stamp, stamp bottom portion of pocket (heat set if using pigment ink) or if using regular ink proceed without heat setting.

4. Using a contrasting color of your choice adhere your 5 3/4" square matt to top flap

5. Using your 5.5" white Square repeat the stamp pattern on the bottom right corner and then print your invitation and adhere to the top flap over your matt. If your not great at stamping simply insert a clipart from your computer.

6. Using/cutting two addtional 5 3/4" squares cut one square to measure 5 3/4"x 5" and the second square should measure 5 3/4 x 4. The first square can be used for your driving directions and the second for your Bridal Registry Card.

7. Adhere your adress mailing labels to the front along with Avery #05248 mailing seals to each of the three sides for security purposes and so that its not torn during delivery.

Wa La wait for your friends to recieve your invitation and call you raving about how great they look.
